Ulladulla Music
The Songs of Joe Higgins
Ulladulla is an Australian Aboriginal work that means "safe harbor". In 1988, while on a flight to Australia I began writing a song that several years later became "Safe Harbor", a song about how church (or almost any other place) can be a safe place to seek shelter, but that the real work needs to be done outside the safety of the harbor. Since music has always been such a safe harbor for me, Ulladulla seems like an appropriate name for a place to showcase my music.
